Freudenstein Castle and Hotel Golf Club Opens New Golf Course

A new 18-hole golf course, which will be six kilometres in length and have a surface area of 50 hectares, will open its doors in Riva di Sotto at the end of 2013. The course will be built on a former apple orchard in order to avoid large-scale deforestation and to enhance the characteristic landscape of the Adige Valley. Until the opening, golf enthusiasts can enjoy the sport at a two-hole practice green and integrated golf academy in Appiano.
